Abstract

Tuberous sclerosis complex is an unusual autosomal dominant syndrome characterized by cutaneous changes, neurologic conditions, and the formation of hamartomas in multiple organs leading to morbidity and mortality. The management of these patients is often multidisciplinary involving specialists from various fields. We report a case of a 55-year-old female patient presenting with persistent left hip pain. Computed tomography showed evidence of subependymal nodules, multiple angiomyolipomas and lymphangioleiomyomatosis. Tuberous sclerosis complex is diagnosed based on recommendations of the 2018 International Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Consensus Conference.
