All patients were asked about medical history, had a clinical examination, had labolatory tests and evaluated treatment results. Results: Hydronephrosis and  pyonephrosis patients had the most clinical and paraclinical symtoms are flank back pain and reduced glomerular filtration, accounting for over 90%; positive urine leukocystosis and blood leukocystosis account for 76.9% and 62.8%, respectively; other symtoms such as: enlarged kidneys, fever, painful urination and anemia account for nearly 50%. The rate of hydronephrosis and pyonephrosis patients were been drained successfully percutaneous nephrostomy is 97.7%. 93% of cases have no complications or mild complications after drainage and 7% of patients required active medical treatment or surgical intervention after drainage.  Conclusions: Percutaneous nephrostomy by momo J catheter under ultrasound guidance of hydronephrosis, pyonephrosis patients is safe and effective treatment.
