PREPARATION FOR PLANED-PREOPERATIVE PATIENTS OF NURSES AT 6 SURGERY DEPARTMENTS, THAI NGUYEN NATIONAL HOSPITAL

Abstract
Background: Preoperative nursing care have significant influence to quality of care of hospital and patients was well-cared can improve operative care and health after operation. Objectives: Determining reality about preparation for planed-preoperative patients of nurses at 6 Surgery departments, Thai Nguyen National Hospital in 2020; exploring factors related to preparation for planed-preoperative patients of nurses at 6 Surgery departments, Thai Nguyen National Hospital in 2020. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive research was conducted on 71 nurses to determine preparation for planed-preoperative patients. Results: There was 59.2% nurses who prepared for preoperation at satisfied level and 40.8% who prepared for preoperation at unsatisfied level. Ages, work experiences, the average number of care patients and trained in surgical care related to preparation for planed-preoperative patients of the nursing staffs. Conclusions: Most nurses prepare for planed-preoperative patients at a satisfied level.
