IMMEDIATE LOADING IMPLANT PLACEMENT IN THE ANTERIOR MAXILLARY REGION: CASES REPORT
Main Article Content
Abstract
Background: Tooth loss in the anterior maxillary region significantly affects esthetics, mastication, and speech function. Immediate loading implant placement is considered an optimal treatment approach that shortens treatment duration, enables early esthetic rehabilitation, and maximally preserves hard and soft tissues immediately following tooth extraction. Objectives: To evaluate the treatment outcomes of immediate loading implant placement in the anterior maxillary region immediately after tooth extraction. Materials and methods: This study presents two clinical case report. The patients underwent atraumatic tooth extraction followed by immediate implant placement into the fresh extraction socket. An immediate provisional restoration was delivered to restore initial esthetics and function. Follow-up evaluations were performed at 3 and 6 months using clinical examinations and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) to assess implant stability, peri-implant tissue conditions, and the osseointegration process. Results: Follow-up at 3 and 6 months demonstrated good implant stability and favorable peri-implant soft tissue healing, with no complications observed during the observation period. The definitive restoration achieved satisfactory esthetic and functional outcomes, and the patient expressed satisfaction with the treatment results. Conclusions: Immediate loading implant placement in the anterior maxillary region is a feasible and effective treatment option.
