Abstract

 Background: Inferiority complex is a psychological concept that remains relatively unfamiliar to the Vietnamese community, although it has been widely researched in developed countries, where mental health issues are increasingly emphasized. Objectives: To develop and standardize a survey questionnaire on inferiority complex and its consequence in the Vietnamese version.. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional research techniques was used to complete the questionnaires to survey questionnaire was administered to 660 students at Hong Bang International University. The questionnaire was validated for reliability using Cronbach's Alpha coefficient and factor analysis (EFA). Results: The questionnaire comprises 6 factors and 22 observed variables. Conclusions: The developed and standardized survey questionnaire on inferiority complex and its consequences in the Vietnamese version demonstrates high reliability and meets the criteria for discriminant validity.
