EVALUATION RESTORATION RESULTS OF IMMEDIATE LOADING IMPLANTS IN MAXILLARY CENTRAL INCISORS IN CAN THO EYE AND ODONTO-MAXILLO-FACIAL HOSPITAL
Main Article Content
Abstract
Background: Immediate loading implant is the protocol that allows prosthetics to be loaded directly into the implant in the first week after surgery. This method offers many advantages, predictable results, especially in esthetic zones like maxillary incisors. Objectives: To evaluate the surgical results and esthetic outcomes of the definitive prosthetics of immediate loading implants in maxillary central incisors. Materials and methods: Uncontrolled clinical trial in 24 patients, 33 implants with immediate loading protocol in Can Tho Eye and Odonto-Maxillo-Facial Hospital. Results: The usage ratio of 3.0 mm diameter implants and 3.6 mm diameter implants were nearly equal (17 : 16). In both diameter implants groups, 14 mm length implants were used the most (64.1% and 75.0% respectively). The insertion torque at 45 – 60 Ncm accounts for the highest propotion in the 14 mm length implants (91,3%). The successful rate of the implant surgery was 96.97%. The mean of Pink Esthetic Score (PES) was 7.97 ± 1,63, White Esthetic Score (WES) was 8.97 ± 1.02) and the total score (PES/WES) was 16.88 ± 2.34). Conclusions: Immediate loading implant in maxillary incisors can be indicated to achieve a high sucessful rate and optimized esthetic results.
