A CASE OF ACUTE LIVER FAILURE DUE TO LIVER METASTASES IMPROVED WITH CHEMOTHERAPY
Main Article Content
Abstract
Liver dysfunction due to metastatic liver cancer carries an extremely poor prognosis, making treatment challenging, and most cases result in death within days to weeks. We report a case of severe liver dysfunction due to metastatic cancer that has benefited from chemotherapy. Lesions ceased to progress on imaging, and liver function improved, gradually returning to normal limits. The patient survived an additional 8 months.
