STUDY ON KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE, PRACTICE OF COVID-19 PREVENTION OF PEOPLE AND CAPACITY OF COMMUNE HEALTH STATIONS IN TRAN VAN THOI DISTRICT, CA MAU PROVINCE IN 2022-2023

Abstract
Background: How to research the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of COVID-19 prevention and control of the general population and the current capacity of commune health stations? What factors are related to people's knowledge, attitudes, and practices? Objectives: 1). Rate of knowledge, attitude, and correct practice of disease prevention among people. 2). To assess the capacity of commune health workers to prevent epidemics at commune health stations - Tran Van Thoi district, 2022-2023. Materials and methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on 400 people in Tran Van Thoi district, Ca Mau province from May 2022 to May 2023, data were collected by interviewing based on prepared set of questions and observations. Results: The relationship between knowledge and attitude to research practice on COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control was weak (52.6% and 79.7%), the average level was (92.6% and 79.7%). 5% and 80.3%, the number of people reaching the level of knowledge and attitude to good practice (92.4% and 97.5%), with p value < 0.001, this is statistically significant. Conclusion: The study showed that the proportion of people with good general knowledge (65.75%), good general attitudes (39.75%) and correct practices (86.75%), incorrect practices (13, 25%). Health education communication programs need to continue to be implemented through television and social networks, emphasizing the importance of ensuring daily hand disinfection/hand washing with soap at a rate of 100% (100%)).
