SURVEY ON THE KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDES AND PRACTICES OF TEACHERS, ADMINISTRATORS AND HEALTH WORKERS AT SCHOOLS IN THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF THE COVID-19 EPIDEMIC IN CAN THO CITY IN 2022

Abstract
Background: Adapting to the new situation for students to return to school is a very important thing in socio-economic development. Research objectives: To determine the proportion of teachers with knowledge, attitudes and practices achieved in epidemic prevention in schools in Can Tho City in 2022. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study using online interview questions on 262 teachers, administrators, and health workers at school in Can Tho City. Results: The proportion of teachers, administrators and health workers with knowledge reached 72.14%; attitude reached 92.36% and correct practice 85.11% in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic in schools. Conclusion: The prevention of the COVID-19 epidemic has been very well implemented in primary, secondary and high schools in Can Tho. Can Tho Department of Health and Can Tho Department of Education and Training needs to maintain and retrain the contents of COVID-19 prevention and control in some schools to ensure the safety of all students attending school.
