Materials and methods: cross-sectional study on all shingles patients admitted to hospital Can Tho City Venero-Dermatology Hospital during the study period. Results: The average number of He-Ne laser usage was 6 ± 2 times. Most patients have superinfection, accounting for 72.6%. Pre-treatment rate of mild, moderate and severe pain were 4.4%; 58.4%; 37.2%. The rates of mild, moderate and severe pain after treatment were 83.2%, 16.8%; 0%.
