Abstract

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has developed very complicatedly, causing a heavy burden of disease and great health and economic losses. According to WHO, widespread access to and use of safe and effective vaccines is the most important factor in disease prevention and control. Objectives: To describe knowledge, attitudes, and coverage of COVID-19 vaccines and related factors in Phuoc Long commune, Phuoc Long district, Bac Lieu province. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study on 400 people from 18 to 65 years old currently living in Phuoc Long commune, Phuoc Long district, Bac Lieu province. Results: The rate of good knowledge is 47%, the rate of positive attitude is 61.8%, the rate of full dose of COVID-19 vaccine is 56%. Conclusion: People's knowledge and attitudes about COVID-19 vaccination and full dose of COVID-19 vaccine are still low. It is necessary to have an intervention solution to increase the proportion of people's correct knowledge, attitude, and practice of injection.
