Abstract

Background: Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture is a common defect because of a knee injury. If this defect is not recovered, the knee will lead to earlier degeneration and have a risk of meniscus tear later. The Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital has performed arthroscopic surgery to reconstruct ACL since 2011. We research to summarize the treatment process which can guide the adjustment of treatment methods in the future. Objectives: 1. Described clinical and radiologic figures of patients with ACL rupture; 2. Evaluated the results of the ACL arthroscopic reconstruction with using hamstring tendons. Materials and methods: retrospective and prospective cross-sectional descriptive research on 205 patients with ACL rupture who were treated from June 2014 to June 2019. Results: Male 71,7%, female 28,3%, average age 34,7 ± 8,9 years old, the result of good and very good rehabilitation was 93,8%, there are 3 cases of infection of the tibial plateau tunnel. Conclusions: The anterior cruciate ligament arthroscopic reconstruction with hamstring tendons has brought a good rehabilitation result
