Abstract

Background: The Covid-19 pandemic has lasted for more than half a year in Vietnam as well as around the World. For limiting the spread, protecting the health and lives, the Government has set up a curfew, implementing social distance. However, in the context of an epidemic, the health sector needs to continue to maintain health care services that have led to the development of telemedicine. Content: Studies recognized the impact and health damage caused by Covid-19 and Telemedicine is the solution at the moment, contributing to removing geographical barriers in the process of medical examination - treatment, epidemic prevention, professional improvement, cost reduction and reducing overcrowding. Conclusions: Covid-19 pandemic is a global crisis that Vietnam and many countries are facing. Telemedicine will become the backbone of the development and reorganization of the medical device system in century XXI.
