 Background: Aseptic necrosis of the femoral head represents ischemic injury of the femoral head which damages the structure of joining; mostly affecting the middle-aged male popular in the most productive age group of 20-50 years. Clinical is usually silent, asymptomatic and detection difficulty. Objectives: Describe clinical characteristics and X-ray aseptic necrosis of the femoral head in people aged 18 to under 60 years old. Materials and methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study on 60 patients were diagnosis aseptic necrosis of femoral head in Can Tho Central General Hospital from June 2020 to March 2021. Results: The average years old 47.37± 7.56; the ratio male/female approximately 9; the average BMI 22.01±2.47; necrosis of both femoral head 38.3%; symptom of clinical primarily limit function hip joint; hard pain with Pain scale >7, influence sense and activating workaday; function hip joint (Merle d’ Aubigne-Postel) majority from medium to least; approximately 63.0% attach medical of disease; injury in X-ray transform femoral head 69.6%; classification femur with Dorr, ratio type B 68.3%. Conclusion: The disease progress slowly and discreet, patient are mostly seen clinically severe, limited motor of the hip joint or atrophy muscle, corresponding X-ray had femoral head collapse majority.
