Suy chức năng gan do ung thư di căn gan có tiên lượng cực kỳ xấu, việc điều trị rất khó khăn và đa số trường hợp tử vong trong vòng vài ngày đến vài tuần sau đó. Chúng tôi báo cáo một trường hợp suy chức năng gan nghiêm trọng do ung thư di căn đã nhận được lợi ích từ hoá trị. Các tổn thương ngưng tiến triển trên hình ảnh học, chức năng gan được cải thiện và dần trở về giới hạn bình thường. Bệnh nhân sống thêm được 8 tháng.
