Đặt vấn đề: Human papillomavirus (HPV) gây bệnh lây truyền qua đường tình dục phổ biến nhất hiện nay, gây ra các bệnh lành tính hay ác tính ở cả nam và nữ. Việc ngăn ngừa nhiễm Human papillomavirus có nhiều biện pháp, trong đó tiêm ngừa vắc xin là hữu hiệu. Mục tiêu nghiên cứu: Xác định tỷ lệ kiến thức đúng về dự phòng nhiễm Human papillomavirus và tìm hiểu yếu tố liên quan đến kiến thức dự phòng lây nhiễm Human papillomavirus trên học sinh trung học phổ thông tại thị xã Long Mỹ, tỉnh Hậu Giang năm 2023. Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang trên 337 học sinh bằng phương pháp chọn mẫu chùm. Kết quả: Tỷ lệ kiến thức đúng về dự phòng nhiễm Human papillomavirus ở học sinh Trung học phổ thông Long Mỹ là 35,6%. Lớp 10 có kiến thức về dự phòng lây nhiễm Human papillomavirus kém hơn so với lớp 12 (OR= 2,986; p<0,001). Học sinh chưa tiếp cận thông tin về Human papillomavirus có kiến thức dự phòng lây nhiễm Human papillomavirus thấp hơn học sinh có tiếp cận (OR=2,193; p=0,001). Kết luận: Tỷ lệ học sinh có kiến thức đúng về dự phòng lây nhiễm Human papillomavirus còn thấp (35,6%). Yếu tố về lớp và sự tiếp cận truyền thông có mối liên quan thuận chiều với kiến thức đúng.
