THE CLINICAL AND SUBCLINICAL FEATURE OF CHRONIC OTITIS MEADIA WITH INCUS INJURY AND RESULTS OF ENDOSCOPIC TYMPANOPLASTY AT CAN THO

Abstract
Background: Chronic otitis media with incus injury is a common disease. Endoscopic surgery and bio-ceramics are new methods and materials for the treatment of this pathology. Objectives: (1) Describe clinical subclinical features of chronic otitis media stability with incus injury (2) Evaluate the results of endoscopic tympanoplasty surgery and ossiculoplasty by bioceramic. Materials and methods: cross – seetialdeal describe study with endoscopic tympanoplasty surgery and ossiculoplasty by bioceramic was performed on 44 patients. Results: tinnitus (100%), hearing loss (93.2%),ear pain (9.1), dizzy (15.9%). The most common form of ossicular injury is incus injury (61.4%), incus – stapes injury (34.1%), malleus-incus-stapes injury (4.1%). In the case of simple incus injury, long process injury (66.7%) and short process injury (7.4%). Preoperative average ABG: 36.3±12.7dB. Postoperative average ABG 10.2 ± 6 dB. 97.7% Result of treatment: 97.7% of the tympanic membrane was healed, 97.7% of the incus has correct anatomical position. Conclusion: Endoscopic ossicuoplasty surgery is the less invasive method but it provides ideal view and approach meddle ear contents for surgeons. This is a promising surgical method. Bioceramic is an ideal material for ossiculoplasty surgery.
