EVALUATED THE RESULT OF POST-PRIMARY PCI VENTRICULAR ARRHYTHMIA TREATMENT ON ST-ELEVATION MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION PATIENTS AT CAN THO CENTRAL GENERAL HOSPITAL IN 2019-2020

Abstract
Background: Nowadays, myocardial infarction is one of the major causes of death and invalid on over the world. Survivors of ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) always face the risk of death from many early cardiovascular events, including sudden death due to arrhythmia, mainly ventricular arrhythmia accounting for about 30%-50%. Objectives: Defined the ratio and evaluated the results of post-primary PCI ventricular arrhythmia on STEMI patients at Cardiology Intervention Department, Can Tho Central General Hospital from 2019 to 2020. Materials and methods: A cross–sectional study with analysis. A total of 145 STEMI patients with a primary PCI in Cardiology Intervention Department, Can Tho Central General Hospital during the study period. Results: We included 145 STEMI patients: 69% male, 31% female, median age: 63.19 ± 12.73. The prevalence of Post-Primary PCI ventricular arrhythmia on STEMI patients was 22.1%. 93,7% patients used amiodarone in treatment of ventricular arrhythmia. After successful treatment of ventricular arrhythmia, 100% patients had perfect results. Conclusion: Treatment of ventricular arrhythmia by amiodarone achieved high results on STEMI patients with a primary PCI.
